Accomplish Your Goals with Less Action and More Fun!!!

It's the New Year and many people are obsessed with goals and creating a new and wonderful year, filled with health, wealth and happiness. I'm not here to deter you from that, but to make it easier!
Sometimes, too much attention to goals and accomplishing everything on your list can be overwhelming and you're ready to quit before you even begin.
If you're like I was, I had a massive "to do" list. It was more than any one person could do. By the end of the day I'd only ticked off a few things that I'd actually done. How did I feel? Not good. Did I celebrate what I accomplished? Absolutely not! I only beat myself up for all the things that still needed to be done and now there were more of those! Only a very organized and efficent army could have accomplished everything on my list.
Why do we feel that we have to do it all? What is the Divine for? Isn't it our greatest helper and ally?
Well, I decided to change how I looked at things and how I planned. If you're familiar with Jerry and Esther Hicks and Abraham, you've probably heard of the placemat process, so you may recognize some of this.
I decided that each day I would only put 4 or 5 things on my "to do" list that I knew I would do - things that had to get done. The rest, I would designate to God and the Universe. You can call it a God list, Universe list or whatever you like. But, the point is, you "allow" the Universe/Divine to handle it for you. Just focus on your short list.
Once you've accomplished your short list, CELEBRATE! Really! Jump up and down, shout, sing! You did your part! You did great!
Now, do something for yourself, and you don't have to wait til everything is done. Make a list of fun things you can do throughout your day and week. Make a point to do at least 5 things a day that feel fun or at least feel very good to you. Yes, you might have to schedule these things in. When I first started this, I found that it was difficult to come up with fun things. I'd obviously been doing too much "work".
Here are some examples of fun or good feeling things. Dance to 1 or more songs, sing, light candles and put your feet up, meditate, go to a movie, rent a movie, have a food treat, have a good cup of coffee or tea, read for fun, go out with your mate or a friend, play with your child or pets, go fishing, play tennis or golf. Make your own list. Commit to doing these things each day.
You see, if you spend all your time working and thinking about working and what has to get done, the universe will match your vibration and give you more of those things to do and think about.
But, if you spend more time relaxing and having fun and doing good for yourself, guess what? You'll get more of that! Isn't that's what it's all about? Feeling good? Feeling free and happy? Spending time with friends and family?
Whether it's weight loss you want, financial freedom, freedom from fear and worry, great health, a great relationship - delegate it to God! God's big enough to handle and orchestrate all of it! Your job is to feel good and let God do the rest.
The more you relax and let go, things will start to get done on their own, or you'll receive help or inspiration doing the things you don't want to do or know how to do. Some things, you'll find, may not even need to be done at all!
If you truly want freedom and ease of life, plan less and work less (unless it's really fun for you). and have more fun! BE more, as in be free, be happy, be peaceful and by all means have fun! It's your birthright and you deserve it, no matter what!
